Giving You Something You Can Feel

How often do we as people get to a point where we feel stagnant in our current situations? As if, nothing we do is changing our daily outcome and unaware to even ourselves; we become content and just continue to stay where we are? Well if you've felt this way, you're not alone. I'm here to tell you that no matter your background, education, or beliefs about life; we all come to this point at one time or another. Perhaps your current situation is causing burnt out. Maybe, you just want a change of scenery and a new take on life. For instance, you might even be in a relationship that you feel is going absolutely no where.

That's why it's important to understand that no matter where you are in life; your age, sex, status, education, or any other determining factors in those realms, do not correlate with what you can do right now to change your life. Did you know that I went back to college in my 30s after being out of the education world for over 10 years? That's right, I sure did. I graduated with 4 associates degrees and I even joined the ASB plus I served on the board of trustees as the Student ASB Trustee. Sounds like a lot for someone with a disability, married, and with two teenagers at home.

It was hard but I did it. It wasn't until 2019, the year before I actually graduated, when I realized I didn't want to do what I was going to school for. I realized that I wanted to go into business and so, I started taking baby steps to set up my business foundation. It was difficult in the beginning because in most instances, I had no idea what I was doing. There was a lot of research, learning, webinars, business expo's and more involved, so I could better understand what I was getting myself into. I also had several people call me crazy, they said I was too old, and that black women couldn't be successful in the beauty empire because it was dominated by the Asians. That's really some of the "talk" used to scare me from following my heart.

Fast forward to today, not only have I successfully followed my blueprints to success within my own business but I have also begun helping other entrepreneurs hone into their purpose and get their businesses going. I really believe that as a successful business person, you aren't truly successful until you can give back and help someone else achieve their goals. And I try to walk in my purpose daily.

To date; I have started 3 businesses, I have placed our Beauty to Go Vending Machines in various locations, I have FREE monthly sessions over Zoom where I help entrepreneurs reach their own potential and that's just the tip of the iceberg. So remember, all you have to do is go! Don't let anyone stop you. There is always going to be someone that will try their best to talk you out of doing something but trust in yourself, your purpose, and those talents that you possess and just go for it. And also know, that these suggestions can become a constant mind state towards any situation that you face.

Ok, my dear Bourgeoisie Baddies, that is it for now. Until next time, I wish you nothing but peace, love, and blessings.

I'd like to thank Vanessa_Presume of Presume Marketing for encouraging me and giving me the idea to share this empowering true story with you all.
